Congratulations to the McBains!

Darryl Sutter popped into the press room shortly at around 4:00 p.m. to tell Helene Elliott and I that Jamie McBain and his wife have welcomed a baby boy into this world. Wonderful news! Congratulations to the McBain family on this wonderful event from all those associated with LAKI.

From the Kings’ public relations department:
It’s a boy! Jamie and Liz McBain are proud new parents of Carter Anthony McBain, the couple’s first child, who was born earlier today. McBain, who was with the Kings in Chicago, caught a flight back to LA after learning that his wife had gone into labor.

As for tonight’s lineup, expect Derek Forbort to draw in for McBain and partner with Christian Ehrhoff. More importantly, and again, congratulations to Jamie and Liz, and welcome, Carter!
