Today’s stick tap goes to Alex Curry and Jack Wilson of FOX Sports West for putting together the Kopitar feature, which will air later in the fall. The show will serve as a comprehensive look back at Kopitar’s entire career with the Los Angeles Kings – back to his very first regular season game, when he did this:

The two sat down with Anze for a long time at Toyota Sports Center last week; this should be a really interesting feature. Also: four of the most pivotal games in Kings franchise history will air next Monday and Tuesday.

This Saturday, October 3, immediately following the Avalanche vs LA Kings Frozen Fury game from Las Vegas on FOX Sports West, Patrick O’Neal and Sean O’Donnell will host the “Kings Live: Season Preview Special.” Discussing key player editions, including Milan Lucic and Christian Ehrhoff, O’Neal and O’Donnell will review the Kings roster, examine fresh, young talent and hear from current players on their respective outlooks for the season.

Thursday nights belong to “Kings Weekly” on FOX Sports West as the half-hour show returns for its third season. Hosted by Alex Curry, the program dedicated to all things LA Kings Hockey will present fan favorites, including “Coffee with Bob,” the insightful sit-down interview with Hall of Fame announcer, Bob Miller; and “#KWTop5,” highlighting the top weekly plays as selected by fans on Twitter. Throughout the season, Curry and the FOX Sports West cameras will also showcase player personalities, hobbies and more with a variety of off the ice features. The season debut will air Thursday, October 15 at 10:00 p.m. on FOX Sports West.

Also, slated to debut this fall, FOX Sports West will feature a half-hour sit-down special with Anze Kopitar, in an all new edition of “In My Own Words.”

Various aforementioned features will be highlighted across FOX Sports West social channels and housed on and FOX Sports West’s YouTube channel.
