Photos: Insiders crush Bamboo

Without trying to sound too much like an advertisement here, Bamboo is an absolutely terrific restaurant. It’s probably your best Chinese option in the Valley, and ranks among the very best Chinese places west of San Gabriel, Rosemead and Monterey Park. The Sweet and Pungent Shrimp is superior to all usurpers, perhaps even Yang Chow’s Slippery Shrimp. Now let the debate begin.

So it was sweet (and not at all pungent) that a group of Insiders gathered at Bamboo on Saturday night, where, presumably, everyone sat in silence, looked down at their phones and in frustration spilled their Tsingtao when, for the ninth time that evening, Disqus asked for their login information.

Amidst shaking fists at Disqus, pictures were taken! Here’s a stick tap to gailweb and monkeyboy for sharing their photos from Saturday night.

WARNING: Photos may contain images of those cornfielded.
