A quick update before we get to the meat of today’s proceedings:

The two sides (Toffoli, Kings) hadn’t been extremely far off to begin with. As for Jones, the team strongly prefers to keep him, but there have been some slow points in negotiations. I don’t foresee a Jones trade, but that’s not to say the Kings aren’t listening. What it most likely means is that the Kings and Jones don’t work something out until the Toffoli contract is done (and theoretically Sekera as well). I’m still under the impression that the most likely outcome (and really the backdrop behind these proceedings) is that Mike Richards gets bought out.

If only there was some platform to talk about all this!
