Good morning, Long Island, and good morning, Insiders.
Today’s southeast-facing view is better than Tuesday’s Manhattan view but doesn’t give away much, other than the misty morning low clouds on a chilly early spring morning. It was a beautiful if brisk day when we arrived on Long Island shortly after 1:00 p.m. and walked into Nassau Coliseum yesterday; after practice had concluded, that same walk was endured with a stiff wind, overcast skies and the clear threat of imminent rain. The moisture continues to push through the area – there’s a chance of snow tomorrow – but this matters little when you spend 90% of the day hunched over a computer in a blogging posture, tinkering with the controls of the in-room thermostat. 72 degrees and basketball shorts are perfect for working on the road. Look good, feel good, blog good.
LO! MUNTERS ARE NIGH:
My LAKings-dot-com story was posted yesterday, and you should give it a read. It’s called Been There Before, and it’s a good glimpse into the dressing room of a team focused on securing a postseason berth, and how their past experiences should be an asset at this time of the year.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends.
