Notes!

-After an unscheduled day off yesterday, the Kings jumped right into it on Monday, taking the ice at roughly a quarter to 10 and remaining on for a good 35-to-40 minutes. Jonathan Quick left the ice first, so he’ll be expected to start in net for the 12th consecutive game. Martin Jones hasn’t played since the loss to New Jersey on January 14 in which he started, was pulled in the second period and re-entered the game in the third.

-No changes are expected from the lines shown Saturday night against Washington. The team did show a multitude of looks on the back end during line rushes, though that’s a result of an odd number of defensemen available. Alec Martinez did not skate.

-Andy Andreoff and Derek Forbort remained on the ice for extra work with Martin Jones, so they’re not expected to play tonight.

-It hasn’t been confirmed yet – and Tampa Bay is not expected to hold a full morning skate after winning 5-2 in San Jose last night – but expect 20-year-old rookie Andrei Vasilevskiy to start against the Kings after Ben Bishop got the nod against the Sharks. Vasilevskiy entered the game for Bishop at the start of the second period during Los Angeles’ 4-2 win at Tampa Bay on February 7 and stopped 19 of 20 shots.
