A team spokesman informed LA Kings Insider on Saturday night that Mike Richards will not be joining the Kings at the White House in commemoration of the team’s 2013-14 Stanley Cup championship. Richards passed through waivers and was assigned to AHL-Manchester earlier in the week.
At the time of this posting, the team was “still waiting to hear from” Jeff Schultz in regards to the White House visit, via the club spokesman.
