I posted this on Twitter earlier today but wanted to make sure those of you on LAKI were able to view it:
In the context of an eventual Regehr return: Schultz could be loaned to Manch w/o waivers if he was up <30 days, played <10 games…

…not saying that a Schultz loan is a certainty, but waiver process would influence the decision. Has played 7 games; was recalled 12/19.

For the conversations I’ve had – though keep in mind circumstances always change and some of my conversations were held prior to Tanner Pearson’s injury – Schultz would be the most likely player to be loaned to Manchester should the Kings choose to make a roster swap when Robyn Regehr is ready to return. Should they desire to keep Schultz around, one option would be to place Tyler Toffoli on injured reserve, though I don’t have an indication that’s the decision the team is favoring at this point. The safest bet as of now is that Schultz will be loaned to Manchester prior to his 30 day / 10 game waiver exemption cap.
