Robyn Regehr is “at least a week away” from returning to game action, Darryl Sutter told LA Kings Insider. Sutter also acknowledged that the injury is to Regehr’s hand, which corroborates several observations during and following the Kings’ 6-4 win over the St. Louis Blues on December 18. Regehr played 6:27 in the comeback victory but has only sporadically been seen by the media around the Kings’ facilities at Toyota Sports Center and Staples Center since.
Regehr has been skating as his improvements have been monitored.
That does bring up this question:
“@lakingsinsider: Regehr is "at least a week away," per Darryl. Hand injury; he has been skating in the mornings.” Who's tying his skates?

I’m afraid I don’t have an answer to that.
In 30 games, the 34-year-old has one goal, five points and a plus-11 rating amidst 19:30 of average ice time per game.
