December 4 postgame notes

-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 81-96-33 all-time against the Arizona/Phoenix/Winnipeg franchise, a record that includes a road mark of 36-54-17. The win snapped a five-game losing streak (0-4-1) in Glendale.

-The Kings improved to 9-4-3 against the Western Conference and 4-1-2 against the Pacific Division.

-Jones currently owns a shutout streak of 146:01. His career-long shutout streak of 163:12 was set from December 3-11, 2013.

-Dustin Brown (2-1=3) scored his 29th career game-winning goal, surpassing Robert Goring, Mike Murphy and Anze Kopitar to move into fourth on the all-time Kings GWG list. He is now tied with Rob Blake (29).

-Los Angeles has scored at least three goals in nine of the last 12 games, averaging 3.25 goals per game (39 goals / 12 games) over that span.

-The Kings improved to 11-0-3 when scoring first and 14-1-1 when allowing two goals or less.

-With two power play goals, Los Angeles doubled its output on the road this season. The Kings entered the game 2-for-31 on road power plays.

-Matt Greene logged his 379th game as a King, surpassing Neil Komadoski for 12th place on the club’s all-time games played list by a defenseman.

-The Kings out-hit the Coyotes 47-37. Robyn Regehr (10) and Brayden McNabb (7) led the Kings in hits.

-Every King recorded a shot on goal. Tyler Toffoli and Jeff Carter led all skaters with four shots on goal.

-Los Angeles finished with 71 shot attempts (42 on goal, 17 blocked, 12 missed). Arizona finished with 51 shot attempts (26 on goal, 11 blocked, 14 missed).

-The Kings won 28-of-69 faceoffs (41%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 8-of-17, Anze Kopitar won 6-of-12, Trevor Lewis won 2-of-10, Jarret Stoll won 10-of-19, and Jeff Carter won 2-of-9. Antoine Vermette won 17-of-24 faceoffs for the Coyotes.

The Kings will practice at 11:00 a.m. at Toyota Sports Center on Friday, December 5.
