-Drew Doughty set a regular season career high in ice time with 33:40 TOI. His previous high was 33:25, logged January 24, 2013 in Edmonton. He has logged at least 30 minutes in eight of the last 10 games. With his third period goal, Doughty tied Marty McSorley for fifth on the Kings’ all-time defensemen scoring list (61-173=234). He now has points in five straight games (1-4=5).
-Jake Muzzin’s four-game assist/point streak was snapped.
-The Kings attempted 49 shots (21 on goal, 17 blocked, 11 missed). The Predators attempted 54 shots (33 on goal, 8 blocked, 13 missed).
-Los Angeles won 36-of-66 faceoffs. Amongst regular performers, Mike Richards won 7-of-13, Anze Kopitar won 6-of-17, Trevor Lewis won 5-of-8, Jarret Stoll won 15-of-23 and Jeff Carter won 3-of-4.
