Sunday morning lineup notes

-A very fine Sunday morning to you and to your fantasy football teams. The Kings’ non-game group took the ice shortly before 10:00 a.m. this morning, which should confirm the lineup LAKI scrawled down during yesterday’s morning session.

-Expect the following players to suit up tonight in Anaheim:

Forwards: Andreoff, Carter, Cracknell, Dowd, King, Nolan, Pearson, Richards, Shore, Toffoli, Van der Gulik, Williams
Defensemen: Greene, LoVerde, McNabb, Muzzin, Regehr, Voynov
Goalies: Jones, Berube

-Andy Andreoff, as you may have noticed, has been seeing time at both left wing and center, two positions in which he feels comfortable. He’ll likely see the majority of his shifts at left wing today, opposite Jordan Nolan. I spoke with Andreoff and Davis Payne yesterday, though the interviews dissolved into the ether – and, frustratingly, not the cloud – when I made the shift to the iPhone 6 last night. Level of self-directed preseason anger: 6.5.

-Marian Gaborik isn’t skating this morning, but again, I’m told his injury isn’t serious and he’s likely held out due to your garden variety training camp maintenance.

Anaheim lineup notes, courtesy of Ducks.NHL.com:
Though each team iced primarily younger teams in Thursday’s game at Staples Center, fans can expect a more veteran-heavy lineup tonight, at least from the Ducks. If the team’s Saturday afternoon practice session was any indication, you can expect to see Anaheim’s top-two lines in action tonight. Those lines – Heatley-Getzlaf-Perry and Maroon-Kesler-Silfverberg – took regular shifts during a practice that didn’t involve any players that played last night in San Jose (3-1 loss).

-Tonight’s game will be broadcast by the Ducks’ television crew on Prime Ticket. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
