-Minutes will be assigned mostly evenly in tonight’s game, though special teams needs may dictate an adjustment. “Hopefully we play a lot of five-on-five,” Darryl Sutter said. Goalies will split the two games evenly. Martin Jones and Jeff Deslauriers will play in Los Angeles, and J.F. Berube and Patrik Bartosak will play in Glendale.
-Regarding Alex Lintuniemi, the 2014 second round pick who turns 19 years old tomorrow and will play in Glendale tonight, Sutter said the key is to get several new players into games over the earlier portion of the preseason slate. Keep in mind that Sutter has previously alluded to rotating players in and out of the lineup before relying more heavily on veterans over the final week to 10 days of the preseason schedule.
