Hockey Fest G.A. Tickets Sold Out; Packages Still Available to Benefit Kings Care Foundation

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Kings – the 2014 Stanley Cup Champions – have announced that all general admission tickets for LA Kings Hockey Fest ’14, presented by Pizza Hut, at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo on September 14 have been sold.

General admission tickets to Hockey Fest are now sold out but fans can still gain access to Hockey Fest by purchasing a ticket to one of the following events — the LA Kings Charity Alumni Game and the Royal Feast later that evening.  Proceeds from all three events benefit the Kings Care Foundation. 

 

HOCKEY GAME:

A special charity LA Kings Charity Alumni Game presented by Toyota will see former Kings favorites versus a special Russian All-Star team at the Toyota Sports Center following Hockey Fest.  The game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

Players representing the Kings team will include (subject to change): Luc Robitaille, Nelson Emerson, Craig Johnson, Mike Donnelly, Jim Fox, Daryl Evans, Ron Duguay, Charlie Simmer, Rob Blake, Sean O’Donnell, Jaroslav Modry, Mike O’Connell and Jamie Storr.  Rogie Vachon and Glen Murray are slated to serve as Honorary Coaches.

Players from the Russian team will include (subject to change): Alexey Yashin, Slava Fetisov, Alexei Kasatonov, Val Bure, Pavel Bure, Darius Kasparitis, Vladie Malakhov, Alex Kovalev, Andrei Kovalenko and Tony Esposito.

 

DINNER:

Later that evening, the Kings will host a Royal Feast at Salt Creek Grille in El Segundo beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Kings players, alumni and broadcasters will be on hand as Salt Creek Grille prepares signature dishes.  There will also be silent and live auctions featuring Kings and NHL memorabilia.

REMINDERS:

On Saturday, September 13, the LA Kings 5k Run-Walk takes place.  The proceeds from this annual event, taking place at Redondo Beach, will benefit the Kings Care Foundation and the Hydrocephalus Association.  The event also includes a Family Fun Walk.  McDonald’s is a proud sponsor of the LA Kings 5K Run.  Visit LAKings.com/5k to register.

On Monday, September 15, the Kings will host their annual charity Golf Tournament at Pacific Palms Conference Resort – One Industry Hills Parkway in City of Industry.  All proceeds from the event – which will feature a Shotgun Start and a post-game Cocktail Reception complete with a Live & Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony – benefit Kings Care Foundation and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  Visit LAKings.com/golf to register.
