April 24 postgame quotes: Justin Williams

On the win being emotional and important:
I would say it’s all of those things. It’s obviously not like a Game 7 because it’s not do or die for them, but it’s do or die for us. You have to lay it all out on the line. They’re not typical Kings games right now. 6-3 tonight, but we came and we’re going to make this a series.

On the end of the game:
I think you play a team, keep playing a team, and keep playing a team bad blood is going to result from it and rivalries start. We want to make this a series. That’s just what spilt over late in the game.

On playing with a chip on their shoulder:
As I said, we’re trying to make this a series now. They’re up 3-0, obviously in the driver’s seat and we’re just going to do what we can to push back.

On his first goal of the game:
It felt great. It feel good obviously, you know you’re role and you need to help the team score and when you do that it’s satisfying. It gives you a little jump start.

On his big games in the playoffs:
It’s 3-1. It’s not anything to write home about. We’re certainly happy we got a win, but we feel we have a long road to go obviously. We need to take another step in San Jose. It’s going to be a tough one.

On how quickly they start focusing on Game 5:
It’s just the spill over from game to game. Intensity ramps up and both teams want it bad. You forget about this one, put it past you and focus on winning Game 5 in their arena.
