-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 80-96-32 all-time against the Phoenix franchise, a record that includes a home mark of 44-42-16. The Kings, who finished the season series with a 2-3-0 record, are 8-2-0 in the last 10 meetings against the Coyotes.

-By winning the 45th game of the season, Los Angeles is one win shy of the club’s wins record. The 1990-91, 2009-10 and 2010-11 Kings finished with 46 wins, while the 2012-13 club was on pace for 46 wins in the lockout shortened season.
