On the win over Calgary:
I think the third period was our best period. When you look at it, it’s our sixth period in 24 hours. To be able to put that kind of effort in there in the third period was huge. We got one early, kind of put them away a bit and we just kind of shut it down through the middle. They didn’t give them any opportunities in the third at all.
On his first game back following the Olympics:
I haven’t played since Saturday, so it’s been five days. So it’s about as much of a break as anyone is going to get during the season. So it’s probably as good as you’re going to feel.
On his performance:
I felt good out there and saw the puck well. Obviously, the team played well around me and we were able to get a win, which is important. Now we have a game in a day-and-a-half here, so we have to turn around and get ready for that.
On returning to Los Angeles:
I’m looking forward to it. I think my wife is looking forward to it more than I am, but it’ll be good to sleep in my own bed.
