On winning a 1-0 game:
If you’re not scoring many, you have to make sure you aren’t giving up any. So that’s it. Quickie was good tonight and that always helps.
On the game:
Just trying to do a lot of the same things – we want to bear down a little bit more on our chances and get it going. It’s tough to play 1-0 every night, but it’s going to come and we’re just happy to get two points here.
On the San Jose scoring opportunities:
Just try and keep them to the outside and keep pucks going up. They’re a good O-zone team. Just try to keep the puck out of our zone.
On the team blocking shots:
It’s good. It’s buy in. That’s another thing – if you’re slumping, you’re giving up goals, you have to get back to the grind there and limit other teams’ chances. That’s blocking shots, paying the price. It’s buy in.
On his game:
Normal.
On his hit on Andrew Desjardin at the beginning of the third period:
It was just a normal play really.
