Morning line rushes

The Kings went through line rushes at Madison Square Garden Sunday morning in advance of their game at 7:00 p.m. local time against the New York Rangers.

Jordan Nolan, who appeared to be dinged up a bit after issuing a heavy open ice hit on former King Peter Harrold behind the New Jersey net Friday night, took the ice with the team but did not participate in initial line rushes. He did participate in a limited amount of rushes later in the skate.

Line rushes from the morning skate:

Dustin Brown – Anze Kopitar – Justin Williams
Dwight King – Mike Richards – Tyler Toffoli
Daniel Carcillo – Jarret Stoll – Matt Frattin
Tanner Pearson – Linden Vey – Colin Fraser – Trevor Lewis

Jake Muzzin – Drew Doughty
Robyn Regehr – Slava Voynov
Willie Mitchell – Alec Martinez

Linden Vey took the initial rush with Tanner Pearson and Trevor Lewis, so he’ll project as the fourth line center. I’ll update this post with the goalie who leaves the ice first.

UPDATE: Ben Scrivens left the ice first at the morning skate and is projected as tonight’s starter.
