On the team scoring five goals:
Three was enough to win.
On the centers having no goals thus far:
Well if you had asked me that in August, I would have said that would have been unusual. Not much we can do about it now. [Reporter: Have you had that happen on a team?] I doubt it, but I haven’t really thought about it…Mike and Kopi have been really, really good for us, every game, and Fras goes back in tonight as a centerman and does a hell of a job. So I really don’t look at it like that. From your side it’s about that, right? Goals. It’s not. It’s about winning hockey games.
On Jake Muzzin’s performance:
I thought he was okay.
On the penalty kill:
We got better as the trip went on but I think there were times tonight, we killed the penalties tonight but, there’s times when Jonathan had to make big saves and he shouldn’t have to make more than one or two a game on the kill.
On finishing up the game with a strong third period:
It’s tough coming home from the trip. Guys like me are, it’s 10:30 I’m 1:30. I’m still on Eastern time, so I’ve got to get out of here.
