Audio: Quick hits with Teddy Purcell

Forward Teddy Purcell has etched out an productive career with the Tampa Bay Lightning after appearing in 91 games with the Los Angeles Kings from 2007-10. Purcell, an undrafted forward who was signed by the Kings in April, 2007, has 192 points (66-126=192) in 325 career games and is currently tied with Alex Ovechkin and Zach Parise for the early league lead in power play goals with three.

Following Tampa Bay’s morning skate, Purcell chatted with LA Kings Insider about the challenges of being traded as a developing hockey player, his power play success, and what the Kings can expect to see from teammate Steven Stamkos later this evening.
