Landing in Minneapolis

Once again, it’s time for the recurring LAKI segment that everybody eagerly anticipates politely tolerates, Landing in [City X]!

The Delta charter caused nary a stir while crossing over MN-62 and touched down at MSP shortly before 5:00 p.m.

I believe we crossed over Lake Minnetonka roughly five or six minutes before landing – it was a large lake! – but my knowledge of Minnesota topography isn’t advanced enough to confidently make that claim.

It’s a pleasant evening with above average temperatures for this time of year in St. Paul, though the partly cloudy skies are expected to give way to rain tomorrow. This is the only time the Kings will visit Minnesota this season, so there goes our chance of experiencing anything similar to the several inches of wet snow that were dropped on the Twin Cities during our last visit here on April 23.
