Kings don’t move up into the first round

The Los Angeles Kings, who do not pick until the 57th overall selection but hold 10 overall picks in the 2013 NHL Draft, did not trade up into the first round.

Former LA Selects goaltender and Newport Beach native Eric Comrie, who was ranked second amongst North American goalies in NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings, was not amongst the top 30 selections.

As it stands, the Kings hold the 27th pick of the second round. They also currently hold the 88th, 96th, 103rd, 118th, 146th, 148th, 178th, 191st and 208th picks in the 2013 NHL Draft.
