On Chicago’s transition game:
They’re a good team in transition. We’ve got to take that away. That’s one of the things we’ve been talking about for the last four games, taking that away. So that’s something we’ve got to be better at.
On returning to Chicago for Game 5:
“Yeah, we’ve got to win one game. Go from there.”
On surrendering two leads in the Game 4 loss:
“[They] made a good play. Screen tip, rebound. That was goal two. Goal three, the transition game. That’s something that we’re trying to take away from them. They do it really well. So they created two goals and made two good plays on it. You know, you just move on. We’ll do all our video and be better in areas that we need to be better at.”
On what will have to change for the Kings to win in Chicago on Saturday:
“You don’t have to adjust your game whether you’re home or on the road. You just have to win one game whether it’s at their barn. We’ve won there before, obviously not this series, but we’ve won there before. We just have to go there and win one game, that’s it.”
On the line change that led to Chicago’s game-winning goal:
“Yeah I think for one of them there was a little bit of a mix up with a guy coming out of the box. I don’t know if that threw us off a little bit but they’re a good team in transition. We’ve got to take that away. That’s one of the things we’ve been talking about for the last four games—taking that away. It’s something we’ve got to be better at.”
