On whether he is traveling to San Jose:
“I am. I’m going to travel.”
On his regimen as he looks to return to the Kings’ lineup:
“Just rehabbing. Same thing. Skating, rehabbing. Nothing’s changed at all.”
On whether there’s any sort of timetable for his return:
“They haven’t told me anything. Just keep skating, keep getting back into shape. Guys are playing well, and hopefully I can get myself healthy so if they need me, I can get in the lineup.”
On his first practice with contact:
“Yeah, that’s the most I’ve done, just because you’ve finally got a chance to do a full practice. Like I said before, guys are playing every other night. It’s tough to get somebody willing to play, do some contact drills just because of the day before the games. So it was good to get out there today, get two days in between a game, and get a chance to bump into some guys.”
On if he had any hesitations practicing with contact:
“No. It’s good. You’ve got to play without fear, just with anybody.”
