On whether the third period was a surprise:
“Not really. We turned the puck over pretty regularly tonight. I think eventually it got us.”
On how important it is to have a “park and ride” mentality heading into Thursday:
“Pretty important.”
On Quick playing well heading into the third:
“You know what? It was one-one going into the third, and even the goal that they scored – I’m not sure he saw the one that was the one-one goal. It wasn’t really a goalie issue.”
On whether Tuesday’s performance bothered him, considering a playoff spot isn’t locked up:
“Every time we lose it bothers me, but with the schedule, you don’t really have time to do that. Get our top players to play better. Unfortunately some of them have not played very well against Dallas this year when you break it out.”
