So, where is Jonathan Bernier?

Jonathan Bernier, who was not seen at the White House with the rest of the Los Angeles Kings at yesterday’s ceremony, is not on the ice with the team at today’s practice at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Goaltending Coach Bill Ranford is practicing with the team and wearing an extra set of equipment previously used in games by Jonathan Quick.

Though Bernier has been included in potential trade scenarios, there is also the possibility that a personal issue is currently keeping him from the team.

Update, 2:20 PM: Bernier was away from the team because a grandparent passed away. He is expected to rejoin the team in St. Louis tonight.
