Mike Richards and Tyler Toffoli both took the ice at the Kings’ morning skate at Toyota Sports Center.
Richards, who weathered a heavy hit late in the second period before exiting through the tunnel and returning to play in the third period, is skating on his regular line with Dustin Penner to his left and Jeff Carter to his right.
Toffoli, who joined the team after a 28-goal rookie stint with Manchester, saw his first shift alongside Jarret Stoll and Dwight King before rotating in on other lines.
Jonathan Quick left the ice first at today’s morning skate, indicating he’ll start tonight’s game against the Calgary Flames.
10:45 AM UPDATE: Toffoli is taking an extra skate along with Brad Richardson, Davis Drewiske and Jonathan Bernier, indicating he is not likely to play against Calgary.
More updates and analysis to come from the Toyota Sports Center.
