-The Kings are 8-2-0 in their last 10, outscoring their opponents 32-17. They have won five straight at home.
-The Kings have outscored their opponents 14-2 in the third period over the last eight games. One of the two goals against was an empty netter by Vancouver on Saturday.
-Jeff Carter logged his fifth career hat trick. His last hat trick came on February 21, 2012, his final game with Columbus. He has goals in six of seven games and 10 goals in his last 10 games.
-Jonathan Bernier is now 7-1-0 with a 1.88 GAA and .932 Sv% in his career against Nashville. He has won five consecutive games, posting a 1.00 GAA and .956 Sv% over the streak.
-Slava Voynov’s three assists marked his career high in assists and equaled his career high in points.
-Dwight King has five points in the last seven games (1-4=5).
-Dustin Penner has four points in the last five games (1-3=4).
-Colin Fraser recorded a game-high six hits in 12:11 of ice time.
-Likely because he was being saved for the back-to-back, Drew Doughty logged a season-low 20:48.
