`Frozen Fury’ statement from Kings

Here is a statement released tonight by the Kings in regard to the cancellation of the “Frozen Fury” preseason game in Las Vegas…

“Today the National Hockey League announced the cancellation of all scheduled preseason games next week, including the annual ‘Frozen Fury’ preseason contest in Las Vegas between the Kings and the Colorado Avalanche on September 29. The Kings are aware of what our fans and partners go through to attend this game. That includes travel, hotel and ticket accommodations — per the Kings and TicketMaster and the MGM Grand’s ticketing refund policy, customers who purchased tickets to Frozen Fury will receive a full ticket refund; please refer to the point of sale of your purchase for this refund of your game tickets — and while we certainly understand the inconvenience at this time we can only look forward to next year’s event in Las Vegas.”
