Scuderi postgame quotes (June 9)

Rob Scuderi’s postgame thoughts…

(on not losing faith now…)

SCUDERI: “I think just have confidence in ourselves. Most of the season was kind of a struggle for us, large parts of it at least, but I think, in the end, everyone thought that we had the answer in this room. I don’t think this situation is any different. We have to feel the same way.’’

(on getting frustrated after saves and hitting the post…)
SCUDERI: “You just have to keep plugging away. If you’re going to get frustrated in the first period, because we hit the post, and we’re going to throw in the towel, then I don’t think we deserve to win it.’’

(on winning Game 6, and not leaving it to Game 7…)
SCUDERI: “We definitely don’t want to come back here. I think we’ve done a good job of just looking at the next game. So, we’ve got the first shift, first period of Game 6 in a couple days.’’
