Sunday practice update

There’s another big crowd on hand for Kings practice, with a lot of parents getting in some double-dip viewing because of the youth tournament in El Segundo. It’s a busy ice surface again, with all the scratched players and Manchester players. Upstairs, in a conference room, Marty McSorley drew a media crowd as he addressed his infamous curved-stick penalty from the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals. There really wasn’t any new ground covered, but McSorley had some interesting comments about how Montreal learned his stick had an illegal curve — the team stole the stick rack, McSorley said — and its place in Kings history.
