Finals broadcast plans announced

The Kings have announced their portion of the broadcast plans for the Stanley Cup Finals. All of the games will be televised on either NBC or NBC Sports Network, while Nick Nickson and Daryl Evans will have the radio call on 1150-AM and affiliates. Bob Miller and Jim Fox will be at all of the games, and will continue with their postgame reports on either Fox Sports West or Prime Ticket, with Patrick O’Neal also contributing to the coverage. Jim will continue doing his live game chats and will do live intermission reports for LAKings.com, with Bob joining him for some. Nick and Daryl will have postgame editions of “Kings Talk’’ after Games 1, 3, 4 and (if necessary) 6. For those who have asked, no, the Kings cannot stream the game online with different announcers. NBC is the sole American television/video rightsholder, and given that NBC has attempted to block “watch parties’’ during the Eastern Conference Finals, this is not exactly the most forward-thinking network. (The L.A. Live area is expected to hold watch parties.)

Also, on Tuesday, Prime Ticket will air Game 7 of the Campbell Conference Finals between the Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs (6 p.m.), followed by Game 5 of this year’s Western Conference Finals between the Kings and the Phoenix Coyotes (8:30 p.m.), followed by the Game 5 postgame show (11 p.m.).
