Morning in San Jose

It certainly could be a wild day in the Western Conference. The eight-team playoff field is set, but any of the eight teams could change their seeding before the day is done. The madness starts in an hour, when Detroit hosts Chicago in a game that will help determine the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-place teams. Here in San Jose, the Kings and Sharks get the honor of playing the final regular-season game. The Kings will have their morning skate at 11:30 a.m. And, for the final regular-season morning view, it’s somewhat fitting that we get an air-conditioning unit in the foreground (at least that’s what I think it is).
