Morning in Edmonton

Something strange has been taking place in Edmonton over the past couple days. There’s a yellowish-orangish sphere off in the distance, and it appears to be radiating a significant amount of heat. I’ll need to ask the locals about it, because this is my fourth time here, and this is certainly a new feature to the city. The Kings are scheduled to have their morning skate at 11:30 a.m. local time (10:30 a.m. Pacific), so fairly shortly we’ll learn the short-term status of Jeff Carter. Here’s how things look in Edmonton this morning…
