Canucks 1, Kings 0: Vancouver took the lead just 3:05 into the game, on its second shot on goal. On a counterattack, Maxim Lapierre passed to Manny Malhotra, who fired from near the middle of the left circle and beat Quick with a high shot to the far corner. Alexander Edler also picked up an assist.
