Jonathan Bernier’s postgame thoughts…
(on improving to 6-1 vs. Nashville…)
BERNIER: “It just seems like I’ve got their number. You’ve always got those teams where you feel good, and those teams that you feel bad. I obviously feel great when I play against Nashville.’’
(on the game…)
BERNIER: “We didn’t quit, and that’s the biggest thing. When you go into to the playoffs, you’ve got to find a way to bury a team, and that’s what we did tonight.’’
(on winning in back-to-back situations…)
BERNIER: “We kept pushing. Even after the fourth goal, we kept going. Obviously they got the second goal, but all night, we played very intense and that’s why we got the two points.’’
(on whether he knew, a few days ago, that he would start tonight…)
BERNIER: “No. (Darryl Sutter told me) last night, after the game.’’
(on playing after not getting starts for long stretches…)
BERNIER: “It’s not easy, obviously, but that’s my job, and I’ve got to do it right.’’
