Friday skate update

As expected, Jonathan Quick was the first goalie off the ice this morning, so he is tonight’s starter. Davis Drewiske, Brad Richardson [edit] and Kevin Westgarth were the extra skaters, so it seems the Kings aren’t planning any lineup changes.

Darryl Sutter is continuing the recent tradition in terms of games at Anaheim. The Kings skated this morning in Els Segundo and shortly will bus to Anaheim. Periodically, under Marc Crawford and Terry Murray, the Kings would stay in Anaheim the night before the game, which never seemed to make a lot of sense for a team that already has some of the worst travel in the NHL.
