Report: Kings sign college prospect O’Neill

The New Haven Register reported this morning — item here — that college prospect Brian O’Neill has signed a free-agent contract with the Kings and will report to the Manchester Monarchs for the rest of this season.

O’Neill, 23, is a forward who played four seasons at Yale. This season, as a senior, he totaled 21 goals and 25 assists — for a team-high 46 points — in 35 games. For his career at Yale, O’Neill totaled 69 goals and 94 assists in 138 games. He is listed at 5-foot-8, 165 pounds.
