Friday practice; photo and bandy

Never let it be said that there isn’t at least some fun on a Darryl Sutter-coached team. The Kings had their annual team photo before practice today, and Sutter was seen briefly putting on a pair of sunglasses on the ice before one photo.

Then, at the start of the practice, there were 23 players on the ice for an impromptu game of “bandy.” One puck, 11-vs.-12 for about 10 minutes, and players had to shoot/stick-handle with their opposite hands. Jonathan Quick got the shutout win.

Normal practice is now underway, with no lineup changes. More notes and quotes to come…
