Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
BROWN: “You can’t doubt or question the effort tonight, or the work ethic. Those were pretty good. It was just a tight game, and they found a way. We have to find a way. We scored one kind of late and gave ourselves a chance. If we could get one earlier, maybe we have a better chance, but they’re a good team at home, and with a 2-0 lead. Now we’ve got to focus on Minnesota.’’
(on a couple bad-bounce goals…)
BROWN: “That’s pretty much the game of hockey. Sometimes bounces are going your way, sometimes they’re not. They got a deflection off our own stick for a goal, and I think guys thought it was icing on the second one. That’s just hockey. Some nights, you’ve got to battle through that and still come out on top. We’ve got to find ways. Whether things are going our way or not right now, we’ve got to find ways to win games.’’
