THIRD PERIOD
In goal: It’s still Quick vs. Kiprusoff.
Flames 1, Kings 0: A pair of former Kings combined for the game’s first goal, 4:03 into the third period. Tom Kostopoulos controlled the puck in the corner of the Kings’ zone, then managed to get a deflected centering pass through two defenders and onto the stick of Michael Cammalleri, who beat Quick from the front of the net.
End of period: The Kings were shut out for the second consecutive game and the eighth time this season, and fell into ninth place in the Western Conference. The Kings outshot the Flames 28-18.
SECOND PERIOD
In goal: It’s still Quick vs. Kiprusoff.
End of period: The Kings outshot the Flames 12-2 in the scoreless period. The Kings went 0-for-1 on the power play, did not face a penalty kill and will be on the power play for the first 37 seconds of the third period.
FIRST PERIOD

In goal: It’s the Kings’ Jonathan Quick against the Flames’ Miikka Kiprusoff.
End of period: The Flames outshot the Kings 10-9. The Kings went 0-for-1 on the power play and 1-for-1 on the penalty kill. This is the Kings’ 59th game of the season, and 24 of them have been 0-0 after one period.
