Kings to honor Charlie Simmer

The Kings will honor Charlie Simmer before tomorrow night’s game as part of their “Legends Night” series, and the Kings will wear their vintage purple-and-gold uniforms against the Calgary Flames. Simmer is best remembered as a winger on the Kings’ famed “Triple Crown Line,” alongside Marcel Dionne and Dave Taylor, and Simmer twice scored 56 goals with the Kings. Simmer ranks seventh in Kings history with 222 career goals. To read and see more about Simmer, check out my LAKings.com feature, plus a podcast interview Simmer did with Nick Nickson.
