Miller, Fox take home awards

Congratulations to Kings broadcasters Bob Miller and Jim Fox, both of whom won awards in their respective categories today at the annual Southern California Sports Broadcasters luncheon in Toluca Lake.

Miller won the sports TV play-by-play award for the seventh time. He was nominated along with Ralph Lawler (Clippers) and Vin Scully (Dodgers). Fox won the sports TV color analyst award for the third consecutive year (Fox also won the sports TV pre- and post-game show award). Fox was nominated along with Stu Lantz (Lakers) and Petros Papadakis (college football).

Also, Fox again was recognized, by L.A. Daily News media columnist Tom Hoffarth, as being the top game analyst in the Los Angeles area. Hoffarth compiles an annual top-10 list. In his column announcing the list, Hoffarth also featured radio analyst Daryl Evans. Click here to check out the column and rankings.
