Morning in Edmonton

We officially hit the “minuses’’ for the first time this season. When I went in search of coffee this morning, the temperature was minus-4 Fahrenheit. Not really the type of milestone any of us were hoping to reach during this road trip… Because of the back-to-back games — and tight games at that, with an 8 p.m. start last night and a 6 p.m. start tonight — there will be no morning skate, with the Kings opting for a team-hotel meeting in a little over an hour. Here’s how Edmonton looked this morning…
