(on getting one point out of a possible two…)
BROWN: “We got a point. It’s a big point right now, but we just didn’t play very well in the first two periods. It probably cost us, definitely cost us a point. It’s just one of those games. We have to be better.’’
(on the Oilers being aggressive and blocking shots…)
BROWN: “It’s not that easy to get shots through. When you’re working hard, you get opportunities. When you’re not working hard, it’s just tough to get shots on goal in this league. D block it. We’ve got to get our feet moving more. Like I said, we found a way to get a point, which, at this time of year, is a huge point. It’s a double-edged sword, though. We can’t accept the way we played in the first two periods.’’
