Sutter return `another game on our schedule’

As alluded to in the previous post, there was quite a “scrum’’ in advance of Darryl Sutter’s chat with the media today. Here’s how it looked (for some time) before Sutter arrived…

Before Sutter talked, the Kings’ locker room opened and players were asked…well, about Sutter, naturally. Jack Johnson was the first victim to graciously answer the questions.

JOHNSON: “To us, it’s another game on our schedule. We don’t view one game bigger than the others. We’re going to try to win a road game.’’

Question: Have you joked with him about it?

JOHNSON: “I haven’t kidded with him about it. Maybe some other guys have.’’

Question: What has changed for you guys since Darryl took over?

JOHNSON: “He’s a passionate guy. It’s just a different coach and a different coaching approach. I don’t know if it’s right or wrong. There’s a little bit more enthusiasm, but it doesn’t really change the way we play at all.’’
