The Kings won last night…everywhere. The team won in Chicago and, in Edmonton, the team’s co-director of amateur scouting, Mike Futa, won $84,642.50. Futa was working at the World Junior Championships game between Canada and Czech Republic and was the winner of the 50/50 raffle drawing. You can bet that some scouts will be hitting up Futa for dinner tonight…
A little to the East, the Kings are back in Winnipeg for the first time since 1996, before the Jets departed for Phoenix.
