Scouting the Ducks

This is the fourth of six meetings this season between the Kings and Anaheim Ducks, with the Kings holding a 2-1-0 record (with one shootout win) so far. Who would have guessed, at the start of the season, that the Kings and Ducks would have two new coaches? It’s the Kings’ Darryl Sutter, in his debut, against the Ducks’ Bruce Boudreau. Boudreau has only two wins in nine games since taking over for Randy Carlyle, but one of those wins was against the Kings, on Dec. 6 at Honda Center, a game that helped lead to the departure of Terry Murray as Kings coach.
