THIRD PERIOD
In goal: It’s still Quick vs. Hiller.
Goal disallowed: The Ducks had a goal disallowed 5:25 into the third period, when video review confirmed that Ryan Getzlaf knocked the puck into the net with his glove.
Kings 1, Ducks 1: Justin Williams took an offensive-zone tripping penalty, and the Ducks tied the game 10 seconds into the power play. Ryan Getzlaf won a faceoff and the puck got to Teemu Selanne, who shot from the middle of the left circle. Quick made the initial stop but the puck trickled past him and over the line as the Ducks tied the game with 3:25 remaining in regulation. Corey Perry also got an assist.
End of regulation: Shots were 36-21 in favor of the Kings.

SECOND PERIOD
In goal: It’s still Quick vs. Hiller.
Kings 1, Ducks 0: The Kings broke the scoreless tie with a 5-on-3 goal 7:38 into the second period. Jack Johnson’s shot from the slot went wide and came back hard off the end boards, right onto the stick of Mike Richards to the side of the net. Richards shot quickly, before Hiller could recover, and scored to give the Kings a 1-0 lead. Dustin Brown also got an assist.
End of period: The Kings outshot the Ducks 12-7 and got the period’s only goal. The Kings went 1-for-3 on the power play and 1-for-1 on the penalty kill, and the Kings will be on the power play for the first 21 seconds of the third period.

FIRST PERIOD
In goal: It’s the Kings’ Jonathan Quick against the Ducks’ Jonas Hiller.
End of period: The Kings outshot the Ducks 17-5 in the first period, and had one close-range shot deflect off both the crossbar and the right goalpost, but there were zero goals in the period. The Kings went 0-for-2 on the power play and the Ducks will be on the power play for the first 1:26 of the second period.
